About Us

We're a Christ-centered 501(c)(3) organization that equips women with both dependable vehicles and life skills for lasting independence.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make a generational impact by sharing the good news of the Gospel and providing reliable transportation and vehicle repairs to single mothers, widows, and wives of deployed military personnel.

We serve women in three key ways:

1. Reliable Transportation

We provide free vehicle repairs and gift dependable vehicles to women who qualify. Every donated vehicle is inspected, repaired, and safety checked by our mechanics and volunteers—then thoughtfully matched to a recipient.

2. Life Skills Training

Qualified women participate in our Restore U Seminar, which includes teaching on Jesus’ love and plan for each woman, along with budgeting, interview preparation, financial education, meal planning, and single-parenting support.

3. Christ-Centered Community

After completing the Restore U Seminar, clients are encouraged to sign up for individual financial coaching and participate in monthly discipleship Zoom calls.

How It All Began

God’s Garage was born out of the needs we saw in our own community. We met women doing everything they could to provide for their families, yet being held back by unreliable transportation.

What started with free vehicle repairs grew into gifting dependable vehicles at no cost—no labor fees and no parts fees. As we listened, we realized the need was deeper than transportation alone. Many women also needed encouragement, practical guidance, and community support. That insight shaped the ministry you see today.

Our Core Values

  • Living with honesty and moral uprightness in all actions

"The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their deceitfulness." Proverbs 11:3 (NIV)

  • Trusting in God's promises and relying on His strength and guidance.

"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." Hebrews 11:1 (NIV)

  • Working together in harmony and mutual support toward a common purpose.

"How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!" Psalm 133:1 (NIV)

  • Pursuing the highest standard in all we do to honor God and serve others.

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." Colossians 3:23 (NIV)

Statement of Faith

These beliefs form the foundation of our ministry at God's Garage, guiding how we serve our community and share Christ's love through practical assistance and spiritual encouragement.

1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16).

2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).

3.‍ ‍We believe in:

  • The full deity and full humanity of Christ (John 1:1–14; Hebrews 1:3–5, 2:5–18)

  • His virgin birth (Luke 1:26–38)

  • His sinless life (2 Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15)

  • His miracles (John 10:31–38)

  • His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood (Matthew 26:28; 1 Peter 2:24)

  • His bodily resurrection (John 20:1–31; Acts 1:1–3; 1 Corinthians 15:1–8)

  • His ascension to the right Hand of the Father (Acts 1:4–11)

  • His present rule as Head of the Church (Ephesians 1:22, 5:23; Colossians 1:18)

  • His personal return in power and glory (Revelation 19:11–16; 22:7–21)

4.‍ ‍We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (2 Corinthians 3:17–18).

5. ‍ ‍We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the salvation of all who are separated from God by sin and rebellion (John 14:15–21; Romans 8:1–11; 1 Corinthians 12:3).

6.‍ ‍We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are lost unto damnation (Matthew 25:41–46), and they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life (Matthew 25:31–40; 1 Corinthians 15:42–57).

7. ‍ ‍We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, with equality across races, genders, and classes (Colossians 3:11).

"I never knew that when I applied to receive help from God's Garage, that I would have a life-changing experience in so many ways. I met amazing people at the seminar I attended back in February and received so much helpful information from the love of God, tools to have a successful interview to get a better-paying job, and budgeting skills. I am so grateful for everyone at God's Garage: the volunteers, the donors, and everyone in the ministry who takes time to get to know you and listen to your story. They pray for you and with you, and they genuinely care. Through this difficult time, I have learned that you are not alone, and prayer does change things. I can't say thank you enough for blessing my children and me with a vehicle. Thank you, Lord."

Thank you so much to God’s Garage for being such a huge blessing to me and my kids. We were blessed to receive a beautiful vehicle that will alleviate so much hassle and stress, and allow for us to be mobile. This entire experience was amazing and has changed my entire life in so many ways. So grateful to all the beautiful people who helped in the process of blessing me with a car, and to Chery, you are truly a Godsend. So thankful for everything! I hope God continues to bless this organization and expand and grow in His kingdom and reach more moms out there in need of help.

I just wanted to take the time and express how unbelievably grateful I am for God’s Garage. Not only have I been blessed with this amazing vehicle, but I will now be starting a job to get back on my feet. I could not have done this without the amazing support and generosity of God’s Garage. I hope in the future I will be able to help someone as much as they have helped me.

I pray that each individual who is a part of this amazing program is blessed on a daily basis. You are truly each a gift from above, and I wish I could do more to show my appreciation and thanks.

“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” James 1:2-4

Thank you again!!!! My son and I could not be happier!

God’s Garage truly was a blessing to me and my little ones. They removed such a big barrier and I am now able to get my life back on track. I’m still at a loss for words at how kind this organization has been. The seminar alone was amazing. This organization brings single mothers like myself hope. Thank you again Gods Garage for blessing my family.
